What TierMint Pro adds

Updated October 24, 2026

See what TierMint Pro adds to the free TierMint plugin, with a link to the guide for each feature, and how to get it.

How Pro works with the free plugin

TierMint Pro is a separate paid plugin. It adds features to the free TierMint plugin through hooks and never replaces it, so both stay installed and active. Pro needs the free plugin, version 1.0.0 or newer.

Your Pro license key gets you updates and support. An expired or invalid license never turns Pro features off.

While Pro is not active, the free plugin lists the main Pro features on its TierMint → TierMint Pro screen. Install TierMint describes that screen.

Where Pro shows up

Where What Pro adds
TierMint menu The Analytics, VAT reporting, Affiliates, Cart recovery, Template Kits and Migrate screens.
TierMint → Settings The License, Tax, Invoices, Recovery and Affiliates tabs, and a PayPal sub-tab under Payments.
TierMint Dashboard A Current monthly recurring revenue card.
Product editor A Subscription switch and Allowed switch targets on each pricing tier, an SEO panel, and the Channel and rollout, offer and Rollout buttons on the release rows.
Customer account page The Invoices, Team, Offline activation and Affiliate tabs.
Storefront Six shortcodes ([tiermint_subscription_manager], [tiermint_invoice_list], [tiermint_affiliate_dashboard], [tiermint_team_seat_manager], [tiermint_offline_activation_manager] and [tiermint_upgrade_prompt]), the Conditional Content block and three Elementor widgets (Subscriptions, Invoices and Upgrade Prompt).

Subscriptions and billing

Subscriptions

Turn any pricing tier into a recurring plan with a billing period, an interval and an optional free trial. Pro stores the schedule and prints the billing and trial lines under the plan. Each paid renewal extends the same license and keeps its key. Stripe and PayPal can both bill subscriptions. For a Stripe subscription, customers cancel, resume and change their card on a subscription manager page. Subscriptions covers the setup.

Plan changes

Let subscribers move between the recurring tiers of one product. An upgrade applies at once, with a prorated charge. A downgrade waits for the end of the paid period. You choose which switches each tier allows. Plan changes work for Stripe subscriptions. See Plan changes and proration.

Failed payments and dunning

When a renewal payment fails, TierMint emails the customer up to three reminders and keeps the license working for 14 days past its end date. If no payment arrives, the subscription is cancelled and the license expires. Dunning needs no setup. See Failed payments and dunning.

Abandoned cart recovery

Email buyers who submitted the checkout form but left without paying. You can send up to three reminders, each with an optional discount code and a link that restores the cart. The Cart recovery screen tracks recovered carts and their revenue. See Abandoned cart recovery.

PayPal payments

Accept PayPal next to Stripe at checkout, for one-time sales and subscriptions. You need a PayPal Business account. A PayPal order is refunded from its order screen, the same way as a Stripe order. See PayPal payments.

Tax and invoices

EU VAT and tax

Charge EU and UK VAT at the buyer's rate, check business VAT numbers with VIES and reverse charge confirmed cross-border sales. TierMint stores the location evidence for each sale and downloads an updated rate table every week. Catalog prices can include tax. TierMint is not a merchant of record, so you still file and pay your own returns. See EU VAT and tax.

VAT reporting and OSS returns

TierMint → VAT reporting shows what you owe each EU member state for a quarter, and downloads the OSS return as a CSV file for your OSS portal. Its Flagged orders tab lists the sales a person needs to look at. See VAT reporting and OSS returns.

PDF invoices

Each completed order gets a numbered PDF invoice, attached to the purchase receipt. The numbers run in an unbroken series for each year. A sale reverse charged to a business in another EU country carries the reverse charge wording. Customers with an account download their invoices from the Invoices tab. See PDF invoices.

Licensing and updates

Signed, offline and team licenses

Pro signs every license answer, so your plugin can check that it came from your store. A customer whose site has no internet access can activate it by carrying a request file to a computer that is online. A team license gives the buyer a number of seats, each with its own license key, which they manage from their account. See Offline and team licenses.

Release channels and staged rollouts

Offer a draft to the beta or release candidate channel, so an early build reaches only the sites that ask for it. Publishing the draft makes it the stable release for every site. A rollout percentage sends a release to a share of sites first, and you raise it as you go. See Release channels and staged rollouts.

Analytics and growth

Analytics dashboard

TierMint → Analytics reports monthly recurring revenue, churn, customer lifetime value, the plan mix and the install base of your plugins. A background job builds the figures once a day, and you can export them to CSV. See Analytics dashboard.

Affiliate program

Run an affiliate program on your own site, with no outside service. Customers apply and you approve them. An approved affiliate shares a referral link, and each referred sale records a commission that you approve and pay through PayPal Payouts or by hand. See Affiliate program.

Product SEO fields

Give each product page its own SEO title and meta description, in place of the product name and overview. The fields sit in an SEO panel in the product editor. See Product SEO fields.

Elementor features and the Conditional Content block

Pro adds three widgets (Subscriptions, Invoices and Upgrade Prompt), six dynamic tags and license-based visibility rules to Elementor. They work with the free Elementor plugin. The Conditional Content block brings the same visibility rules to the block editor. See Elementor Pro features.

Store setup

Template kits

Import finished Account, Pricing and Storefront pages, built from TierMint blocks or Elementor widgets. An import never overwrites a page it made before. See Template kits.

Migration from another store

Import products, customers, orders, license keys and activations from Easy Digital Downloads, License Manager for WooCommerce or SureCart. A dry run shows the counts before anything is written, and a verification report checks the result. See Migrate from another store.
