Storefront pages

Updated October 24, 2026

See which storefront pages TierMint creates for you, use your own pages instead, and choose how the product page shows its heading.

The pages TierMint creates

Right after activation, on the next page load, TierMint creates the pages a new store needs and selects each one in its settings. Each one is an ordinary published WordPress page, so you can edit it in the block editor like any other page.

Page What it holds Setting that points at it
Store The Product Grid block, which lists your products. Store page
Product The product blocks: Product Image, Product Overview, Product Pricing Tiers, Product Description, Product Screenshots and Product Meta. Every product opens on this one page. Product details page
Checkout The Purchase Confirmation and Checkout blocks. Checkout page
Account The Purchase Confirmation and Account Dashboard blocks, where customers find their purchases, downloads and license keys. Account page
Sign in The Login Form block. Sign-in page
Reset password The Password Reset Form block, for the lost-password request and the new-password form. Password reset page
Register The Registration Form block. TierMint creates it only when the WordPress setting Anyone can register is on (Settings → General in WordPress). Registration page

These pages have their own guides: Product details page, Checkout and billing fields, Customer dashboard and Customer accounts and login.

Use your own pages

Open TierMint → Settings → General. The Pages group has one picker for each page:

Setting What it is for
Store page The page that lists your products.
Product details page The page a single product opens on from the store grid.
Checkout page The page with the checkout block or shortcode. Cart links and links to buy a new license open it.
Account page Where customers manage their purchases, downloads and license keys.
Sign-in page The page with the sign-in form. Leave it unset to use the WordPress login screen.
Registration page The page with the account registration form.
Password reset page The page with the lost-password and new-password form. While it is published, the password emails TierMint sends link to it, and so do WordPress's own while Use the sign-in page instead of wp-login is on. Leave it unset to use the WordPress screens.
Terms page Your terms and conditions, linked from checkout.
Privacy policy page Your privacy policy. Left unset, TierMint uses the privacy policy page set under Settings → Privacy in WordPress.
  1. Pick a page from the list, or Not set to leave the slot empty. The list shows your published pages.
  2. Click Save changes.

The Pages settings with a page picker for each storefront, account, terms and privacy page

TierMint never creates a terms or privacy page. Add your own, or leave those slots empty.

A setting that points at a page that is not published (a draft, or a page in the trash) works as if it were empty. TierMint hides links to that page and skips any redirect to it. Publish the page, or pick another one, and it works again. One exception: the Proceed to checkout button in the cart summary still links to a checkout page that is a draft or in the trash, so publish that page before you open the store.

How TierMint fills the page settings

TierMint checks the page settings each time you activate the plugin. It never undoes your own work:

  • It never changes the content of a page that already exists. Redesign the checkout page as you like, and reactivating the plugin leaves it as it is.
  • It leaves a setting alone while it points at a page that exists and is not in the trash. This is true for your own pages and for a draft.
  • It fills a setting that is empty, or one whose page was trashed or deleted. If a page TierMint created earlier is still published, a draft, pending or private, it selects that page again instead of making a copy. Otherwise it creates a new page.

Clearing a setting alone does not give you a fresh copy, because activation selects the same page again. To get a fresh copy of one page, trash or delete the old page, then deactivate and activate TierMint. Your other pages stay as they are.

TierMint marks each page it creates, so it can find them later. When you delete the plugin with Delete all data on uninstall turned on, it deletes only the marked pages. See Deactivate or delete TierMint.

Choose how the product page shows its heading

Your theme prints the page title as a heading at the top of each page. On the store, checkout, account, sign-in, registration and password reset pages, that title is the only heading, as on any WordPress page.

The product page is different. Every product opens on the same page, so the theme would print its generic title, "Product", while the product block prints the real product name below it. The Product page heading setting under TierMint → Settings → General decides which one you keep:

Option What shows
Show the product name in the block (default) The product block shows the product name as the page heading. TierMint hides the theme's page title on the product page. This works with any theme and needs no setup.
Use the theme page title for the product name The theme's page title becomes the product name, so a Post Title block, breadcrumbs and a theme title bar all show it. The product block hides its own name. Pick this only if your theme prints the page title. If your product template has no title, the page has no heading.

With either option the product page shows one heading: the product name. The setting changes only the heading on the page. The browser tab and the social sharing title use the product name with both options.

Two side effects of the default option show only on the product page, and the theme title option fixes both:

  • Anything else that prints the product page's title gets an empty title there. That includes breadcrumbs and a list of pages shown on the product page.
  • A few older themes always wrap the page title in a heading. With an empty title, such a theme prints an empty heading next to the product name.

The setting never changes the title of any other page.

Hide the admin toolbar for customers

The Hide the admin toolbar for customers setting under TierMint → Settings → General is off by default. Turn it on to hide the WordPress toolbar on the front of your site for signed-in users who cannot edit posts, which is what a customer account is.

The setting applies to every such user, whether or not they bought from you. If another plugin gives members or students their own accounts, they lose the toolbar too. Users who can edit posts (administrators, editors, authors and contributors) always keep it. For visitors who are not signed in, WordPress decides as usual.
